About
I’m an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Nazareth University. My research sits at the intersections of Science & Technology Studies, Labor Studies, Media Studies, and Environmental Sociology. As a Sociologist, I follow drones, platforms, and AI into the spaces where people learn, labor, and govern, with questions concerning the ways by which these systems reorganize everyday life and public power. Grounded in STS and qualitative sociology, my work uses ethnographic, digital, and archival approaches. I carry the same ethos within the classroom, treating technologies as lived infrastructures students can interrogate and reimagine.
Outside of academia, I hike, travel, and ride my bike as often as I can. I occasionally get enthusiastic about cooking, and I’m especially partial to a good role-playing video game, a great book, or a science-fiction film.
